Kalmia Cottage is located in a 1910 house on the corner of Sixth and Kalmia in Junction City, Oregon.  Traffic is light and the neighborhood is quiet.  You'll enjoy your private yard and find your stay very relaxing and romantic...more romantic than a Bed and Breakfast since you have the whole place to yourself!

Your kitchen is fully equipped with full-size appliances, dishes, pans, coffee maker, toaster, utencils, and basics such as spices and sugar.  You can fix your meal on the barbeque grill on your private patio.  There will soon be a vegetable/herb garden and the cottage flower garden in full bloom.

If you want (or need) to share your solitude with someone else, there is a full-size futon in the living room.

Enjoy a short walk to everything the town has to offer:  shopping, dining,  and much more.  We are located in the wonderful small town of Junction City.  It is on Highway 99 and a few miles from I-5.  Highway 99 connects Eugene (and South) with Corvallis and the Portland area on Highway 99W and Albany and towns east of I-5 on Highway 99E.

Kalmia Cottage is close to the Mahlon Sweet Airport, which is a mere 8 miles away.  There is only one lodging facility closer: in West Eugene.

Eugene is 14 miles to the south and the University of Oregon and Autzen Stadium is 17 miles away. 

Corvallis is 23 miles to the north and Oregon State University and Reiser Stadium is 25 miles away.  

Junction City High School is a few blocks down Sixth Avenue.

Junction City is host to the annual Scandinavian Festival in August.  It is a four day event which pays homage to the cultures of Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Iceland.  The Cottage is located only three blocks away from the Festival on the same street.

Every June, Junction City holds the Function4Junction Cruise-in and show'n shine.  The car show and staging is just 4 blocks west.  The classic and antique cars line up on Sixth in front of the house and cruise all evening on Highway 99 just 2 blocks away.
